Description
Knit&Note Highland Wool is a soft and delightful wool yarn, suitable for both children and adults. The yarn has a slightly loose spin, resulting in an even and beautiful result. It can be used alone for knitting lightweight sweaters or jackets, or held together with Knit&Note Cashmere Mohair for a more luxurious look.
The wool comes from sheep that live a good life in the high mountains of Peru. The fiber is hand-sorted, and only the finest fibers are used in the yarn. The entire process, from sheep to finished skein, takes place in the same location. The factory is Fairtrade certified, ensuring good working conditions for its employees.
For each skein sold, a portion of the sales goes to Mirasol, the factory's own primary school. The yarn is GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified, as well as mulesing-free. It is not superwash treated.
